A full service transformation partner for criminal justice and policing
As an organisation with a long-standing commitment to progressive sharing of capabilities wherever possible across public services, Methods brings a sharp focus on the importance of driving interoperability across criminal justice and policing in the UK.
Methods has supported organisations across the sector to deliver major modernisation programmes to refresh, update, streamline and simplify all aspects of IT technical architecture, systems, strategy, and operating models.
Police ICT Summit
The 2021 Police ICT Summit ‘Maximising the digital opportunity’ took place in February 2021 and was chaired by Mark Thompson, Professor at the University of Exeter and Strategy Director at Methods.
The National Policing Digital Strategy, launched in January 2020, emphasised that the pace of change has never been this fast, yet it will never be this slow again. Never more so than during the worldwide events of 2020 has technology been relied upon so heavily to help us adapt and revolutionise the way in which we interact, plan and deliver our services and enable workforces and the public to stay connected.
2020’s summit, ‘Delivering change at pace in a digitally disrupted age’, saw Professor Mark Thompson keynote where he discussed ‘Disruptive technology and the digital re-design of the UK public sector’, exploring the ever-changing digital landscape and how it can be applied to policing.
