Last week, the Methods team, including Beth Mitchell, Karen Nell, Liz Whiteley, Marc Tallentire, Ian Evans, and Anthony Hannon, attended the CTP Resettlement and Recruitment event at Bristol’s Ashton Gate Stadium. The event supports military service leavers and veterans transitioning to civilian employment.
It was an excellent opportunity for attendees to meet with industry experts, explore job prospects, learn about Methods, and gain insights into our recruitment process and the successful Cyber Academy GRAVITATE programme. Our service veterans, Ian and Anthony, shared their perspectives on the Cyber Academy’s syllabus and Anthony’s experience as a graduate of the first cohort.
The day was a resounding success. We engaged with service leavers, showcasing how their skills are valuable assets for companies like ours. We provided career transition advice and highlighted opportunities at Methods. Additionally, the event gave us valuable insights into service leavers’ needs, reinforcing our commitment to an inclusive and diverse recruitment pool.
