Last week we had the pleasure of joining students at Dudley College, who had invited ten teams of local school pupils to take part in an exciting and inspiring two-day event to raise awareness of the wide range of job roles in the technology industry.
Jadene Aderonmu, UX Designer here at Methods, gave a talk to the students about her experiences and career in UX Design. Before the talk only one student knew what UX Design was, after Jadene’s talk there are now eighty.
Events like this are crucial in inspiring the next generation, helping them to understand and explore different skills and career options; as Liz Whiteley once said “You can’t be what you can’t see”.
Delivering social value is important to us as an organisation, and we were thrilled to have the opportunity to potentially shape some future tech careers – thank you Dudley College for having us.
