We’re delighted to announce that Helen Dickens and Nukey Proctor have been recognised for their outstanding contributions at this year’s Midlands Women in Tech Awards in Birmingham.
A night of celebration
The evening was a testament to the remarkable achievements of women in technology across the Midlands region, which saw 300 nominations, 20,000 votes, and 13 winners! Hosted at the Eastside Rooms by Deborah Leary OBE, Methods people attended in force alongside our client Raina Nisar from HMCTS.
Inspiring speakers
The evening featured powerful addresses from two remarkable women:
- Lalita Taylor, BBC Executive Producer and Director of BBC Academy Fusion, delivered a moving keynote speech. Her personal journey from a young girl in India who had to fight for her education to her current position at the BBC resonated deeply with attendees.
- Sharon Luca shared the meaningful work of The Luca Foundation, which provides crucial support, resources, and training to families affected by infant loss or those at high risk.
Celebrating our finalists
We’re incredibly proud of all our nominees, including Lauren Tombs, who was recognised as a finalist in the Shining Star category. Lauren’s leadership of the Methods product team has delivered exceptional results for prestigious clients including the Department for Transport, HM Land Registry, and the Ministry of Justice
