Information Systems and Digital Services (ISDS) work in partnership with the academic and professional services colleagues to deliver digital and IT services that help Manchester Metropolitan University achieve its strategic objectives in teaching and research. They help to create the ‘University of the future’ by co-designing new ways of working, enhancing productivity, reducing complexity, supporting innovation, and providing the insights to drive continuous improvement.

The purpose of this DPS is to establish a panel of suitable recruitment vendors to enable the University to effectively mobilise and deliver work and initiatives. The recruitment will be focused on IT positions, for both contractor and permanent contracts.

Methods can supply IT contractors in the following areas:

  • Testing
  • Infrastructure
  • Project Management
  • HR and Finance Systems
  • Development
  • IT Architecture
  • IT Security
  • Business Analysis
  • Vendor Management
  • Service Desk and Service Management

To be eligible to be on this framework, suppliers had to demonstrate:

  • An excellent track record in recruiting for IT positions, for both contractor and permanent positions.
  • Presence – a Manchester (or local) office with a significant local candidate supply base.
  • A good understanding of the culture and recruitment needs for IT roles within the University, or similar Higher Education institutions.

Methods has a network of 8 offices around the UK and this includes its well-established Manchester Office on Oxford Street in Manchester City Centre. Our Manchester office has allowed Methods to develop a hub of local and specialist IT contract resources for our clients in Manchester and the broader Northwest.
