“Innovation at its core” – Defra’s mNCEA programme is voted a top 3 finalist at the Civil Service Awards

We are delighted that the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) has been selected as a top 3 finalist at this years Civil Service Awards!

Nominated for the Civil Service ‘Science and Innovation Award‘, Defra’s flagship research and development programme, marine Natural Capital and Ecosystem Assessment (mNCEA) has innovation at its core – establishing new ways of working, and collaborating in creative and effective ways with Defra’s Arms Length Bodies (ALBs). The programme is addressing how nature can be put at the heart of government decision making.

The awards are being held on the 8th December in London where the finalist will be announced.
