Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) Project Delivery Awards and Conference in Leeds. We were treated to a full day of insightful talks that touched on the importance of creating the right environment for success, and the pivotal role that data plays in Defra’s mission. The day concluded with an awards ceremony – recognising and celebrating the exceptional work undertaken by Defra teams throughout the year.
Our Head of Change Delivery, Laurence Wells, was honoured to present the award for ‘Innovation in the Face of Adversity,’ which recognised those who demonstrated exceptional initiative when faced with challenging circumstances.
As Defra’s dedicated Project Delivery Partner, we are constantly immersed in their goals and initiatives, it was therefore so rewarding to be invited to spend the day with them at this conference.
Over the years, we have had the honour of collaborating with Defra on some truly challenging, exciting, and worthwhile projects (check out some of our snapshots below!). It’s days like these that remind us of the importance of our contribution towards creating a more sustainable future, and it’s truly fulfilling to see how our work has made a tangible impact on their efforts.
