Navigating complex IT updates – seamless VPN upgrade at the MoJ
The MoJ initiated a critical corporate VPN upgrade to align with vendor guidance, affecting over 40,000 staff across physical and virtual devices
This upgrade was essential for maintaining information security and enabling remote access to MoJ servers. Given the large-scale impact on the user base, the project required careful planning to minimise disruption, while managing the complexity arising from multiple contributing teams.
To address these challenges, an action plan was developed that outlined project goals and dependencies, with close collaboration between the project team and MoJ colleagues to secure universal agreement.
