The Parole Board maximize Microsoft cloud platform capabilities, supporting digital transformation agenda

By Methods29 October 20201 min read

The Parole Board is an independent arm’s length body of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ). Its mission is to work with its criminal justice partners to protect the public by risk-assessing prisoners to decide whether they can be safely released into the community. They set out a 2020 strategy which would see real improvement of their digital services, fundamentally changing the way IT services were organised and delivered.

When CoreAzure came on board, the Parole board were already in the process of disaggregating from the incumbent MoJ IT provider. Whilst Office 365 had been used for some time, they were unclear of how best to deploy and exploit in the context of a broader infrastructure modernisation programme.

Read this customer story of how CoreAzure delivered a short consultancy engagement designed to assist the Parole Board in understanding and exploiting the Office 365 platform, and then went on to complete the design and implementation of the new platform built around Microsoft CoreAzure.

By using their experience and expertise, CoreAzure has helped us understand how to maximize the benefits from our Microsoft cloud platform to support our digital transformation agenda. The contractual disaggregation has been complex, and the timescales were challenging, however, CoreAzure has quickly established and helped us transition to the Micorsoft cloud platform without impact to our service.
