“Existing arrangements for death certification are confusing, provide inadequate safeguards, and there is no mechanism that allows the NHS to see patterns, take action, and learn from them”. *

Methods has been working with the Department of Health & Social Care to overhaul the death certification process. Our multidisciplinary team emerged themselves in the subject matter to understand how the end-to-end service had been running and what the problems were.

Our team went on to create an innovative solution to meet user needs across a case management system, designed in a way that clinicians recognise, which has since facilitated the roll-out of Medical Examiners across the country.
