Within the broader Methods Group, CoreAzure is the most experienced cloud partner for UK universities, leading the field in ground-breaking IT-led programmes based on the use of the Microsoft Cloud platform that enhance the student experience and the teaching and learning cycle.
How can we help?
Following an initial Discovery, Methods has evolved to be one of the trusted suppliers for the DfE and ESFA and currently supports 10 services including apprenticeship, funding, data collection and the national careers service.
We have worked across the entire service lifecycle, providing insight to inform policy direction and translating policy into the design and development of products and services from discovery to live.
Through our broad understanding of the education service landscape, Methods has helped to facilitate a more holistic view of end-to-end service provision. By operating across organisational silos, we have been able to add increasing value to our clients enabling a deeper and more far reaching service transformation.
Some of our previous work
Unistats
Our multidisciplinary teams (design, data, research, analysis, technology and delivery) have successfully delivered a Unistats replacement and our teams continue to support these services through to live.
British Council
A provider of educational services, Methods evaluated existing cyber risks for the entire IT estate, which informed the roadmap for risk mitigation, adhering to NCSC guidelines. Remediation activities in progress, including deployment of Azure Sentinel.
Apprenticeship service
The Manage Funding project was formed within the Apprenticeship Service program for the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and Department for Education (DfE). The aim was to build capability within the apprenticeship service to accommodate users who do not pay the apprenticeship levy. The new service’s main purpose is to switch the control of the current apprenticeship end-to-end process from training providers and pass it over to employers. Using an agile approach Methods delivered the new service on time and within budget. Significant uptake of the service in the first 24 hours is testament to the appropriate functionality and user experience.
